TEREZA SMOLOVÁ, *1993, Třebíč, Česká republika
As a student I have a long-term interest in sustainable architecture. This began when I was at high school of civil engineering and traveled to Spain for few weeks to deepen the knowledge about Low-energy and passive houses construction of buildings in terms of thermal technology. Later on university I was on a educational stay in Denmark for one semester where sustainability is essential there.
I like architecture, that is not only aesthetic but also functional, including organism-like structure. Thanks to my intuition and perfectionism I am good in solving complicated details and conflicts in the design.
Since February 2015 I work as an intern in Jan Hanousek architects. This position provides an opportunity for me to work on a variety of projects. I also participated in competitions and contests on and off the school and work environment. I find this to be a good way to learn how to react quickly and have fun together.
I enjoy expresive art, chilled music, simple things and while traveling I focus on experiencing rather than “blind” sightseeing.
